Distribution

Type locality: Reserva Adolfo Ducke, igarapé do Acará, tributary to rio Tarumã, itself tributary to rio Negro, Amazonas, Brazil (03°08’S 60°02’W).

Known also from: Amazonas, rio Preto da Eva, igarapé Sucuriju, next to Bom Jesus farm, at km 13 of Ramal Francisca Mendes (2º45’15.8”S 59º37’29.6”W) and Amazonas, Manaus, igarapé at Recanto do Chupisco, at side road leaving at km 36 of road Manaus-rio Preto da Eva (2º49’48.7”S 59º58’11.2”W)
