Distribution
Known only from the type locality: Rio Caldeirão, Rio Paraguaçu basin, Município de Lençóis, Estado da Bahia, Brazil (12°39′33″S, 41°22′13″W), altitude about 340m.
Habitat
Interstitial (psammophilic).
