Types

Holotype: CLJH 201011056 77.5mm SL. Paratypes: CLJH 20101110507, 2011120701, 2011120703 (4 specimens, 37.2mm - 66.8mm SL).

Distribution

Known only from the type locality: Lintong Town, Fengshan County, Guangxi, China. 24.8°N, 107.0°, elevation 850 meters.

Systematics

A good comparison of subterranean Triplophysa species is provided by Wu et al. (2018).
