Holotype: KIZ 2013003381 63.0mm SL, Paratype: KIZ 2013003382 59.5mm SL.
Distribution
Known only from the type locality: Outlet of subterranean river in Xisa Town, Xichou County, Yunnan Province, China, 23°26'16.0"N, 104°40'42.1"E.
Habitat
The true habita is not known, the animals were collected at the outlet of the cave system which has not been explored.
Systematics
No information available. A good comparison of subterranean Triplophysa species is provided by Wu et al. (2018).
