Luciogobius albus. The IUCN Red List of Threatened Species 2019
Watanabe, K. and Taniguchi, Y.
Record Number:
4809
Year:
2019
Volume:
e.T12403A110462460
Abstract:
This species is only known to be extant in a cave in Nagasaki Prefecture. It has an area of occupancy
(AOO) of 4 km2 and the cave represents a single location based on the threat of sedimentation. This
threat is leading to a continuing decline in habitat and the population. Therefore, this species is assessed
as Critically Endangered.
